Getting a quote
How do I get a quote? Call, email, or use the online form with your vehicle’s make, model, year, condition and whether it runs. We give you a firm cash figure, usually within minutes.
Is the quote free and no-obligation? Yes. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to accept.
What details do you need? The make, model and year, the condition and any damage or faults, whether it runs and drives, any extras fitted, and where the vehicle is.
Will the quote change when you arrive? If the vehicle matches what you described, the figure stands. We do not quote high and drop it at the kerb.
Payment
When do I get paid? On the spot, at pickup, before the vehicle leaves. You are never left waiting for money.
How much is my car worth? It depends on the make and model demand, the condition, whether it runs, any valuable parts, and the scrap metal value. Call for a firm figure.
Pickup and removal
Is pickup really free? Yes. Free pickup is included across our service area, running or not.
How fast can you collect my vehicle? Often the same day you call, and usually within a day or two.
Do you buy vehicles that do not run? Yes. Non-runners are worth money for their parts and metal, and we tow them free.
What if the vehicle is in a hard-to-reach spot? That is fine. We handle difficult access regularly and bring the right equipment.
What we buy
What types of vehicles do you buy? Cars, utes, vans, 4WDs, SUVs, trucks and motorbikes, plus caravans, campers and trailers, in any condition.
Do you buy damaged, written-off or flood-affected vehicles? Yes. Damaged, wrecked, written-off and flood-affected vehicles are all bought for parts and salvage.
Do you really buy caravans? Yes. We buy caravans, campers and trailers too, including old, damaged and water-affected vans, which many car-only buyers do not.
Paperwork, rego and plates
What paperwork do I need? Proof you own the vehicle, such as registration papers in your name or a purchase receipt, and your photo ID.
Do I need a roadworthy or safety certificate? Not for an unregistered vehicle or one sold for parts. A safety certificate is generally only needed to sell a registered car to someone who will drive it.
What do I do about the registration? If the vehicle is registered, cancel the rego while it is current to claim any pro-rata refund, and take the plates off before pickup. See our cancellation guide.
What about my number plates? Take standard plates off before pickup to surrender when you cancel the rego. Personalised plates belong to you, so keep them.
Can I sell a vehicle with finance owing? Yes. The finance is cleared as part of the sale, and the amount owing comes off what you receive. Tell us upfront.
Can I sell a vehicle from a deceased estate? Yes. We deal with estate vehicles regularly and can work around the paperwork and timelines. See our deceased-estate guide.
