How do I find out if you have the part I need?
Triton and Pajero fitment both changed significantly across generations, so the VIN matters. Tritons split between the ML, MN, MQ and MR, and the tray and body dimensions differ enough that panels are not interchangeable. Pajeros run from the NM through to the NX with real differences in driveline and electronics, and the Pajero Sport is a separate vehicle again despite the shared name. For Lancers and ASXs the parts are more consistent, but the CVT transmissions vary by year so it is worth checking before you commit.
Why buy second hand rather than new?
The case for used Mitsubishi parts is strongest on the 4WD side, where the vehicles are bought to work and kept well past the point where a new part makes economic sense. A Pajero with a failed transfer case is not a car anyone scraps, it is a car that gets a second-hand transfer case fitted. Because these vehicles are common in Queensland and get used hard, there is a steady supply of donors and the parts coming off them are known quantities rather than unknown imports.
Do you deliver, or do I collect?
Pajero and Triton driveline components are collection items. Lancer and Mirage parts are usually small enough to send. If you are coming in, ring first so we can have the part out and ready rather than have you wait while we pull it.
