Commodore engines, gearboxes, diffs, panels, lights and modules, Colorado running gear, and Astra, Barina and Cruze mechanicals.
Holden parts get harder to find every year. Modules and body panels in particular are worth securing when you see them rather than waiting.
How do I find out if you have the part I need?
Commodore fitment spans a lot of ground, from VE and VF back through VT, VX, VY and VZ, and the parts are not interchangeable across the lot. Sedans, wagons and utes differ again, and the SS and V-series cars have their own components. Give us the badge and the VIN. If the car is a Colorado, tell us whether it is the pre-2012 Rodeo-derived model or the later one, because they share almost nothing. For Captivas it is worth saying whether it is the five or seven seat version, since the rear ends differ.
Why buy second hand rather than new?
Holden is in the same position as Ford, only more so, because the entire brand closed in 2020 rather than just the local factory. Nobody is manufacturing new Commodore panels, modules or interior parts, and nobody is going to. The cars are still on the road in large numbers and their owners still need to keep them going, so every repair from here is a second-hand repair. What that means practically is that availability, not price, is the constraint. If you find the module or the panel you need, take it, because the next one may be a long wait.
Do you deliver, or do I collect?
Commodore panels and driveline are collection items from Alexandra Hills. Smaller components such as modules, switches and sensors we can send. If you are coming in, ring first so we can have the part out and ready rather than have you wait while we pull it.
